Detective Sergeant Timo Harjunpää (Peter Franzén) of the Helsinki Violent Crimes Unit is only a shadow of the man who used to be. He’s taking pills for his depression, and he’s trying to cope with his estranged wife, who has turned to God after the loss of their daughter. He’s also dealing with a case of a strange succession of deaths in the Helsinki metrostations, which are believed to be the work of a serial killer. At the same time he’s plotting revenge on the man who killed his daughter.
