AAcum 25 de ani dumnezeu a dispărut, îngerii săi l-au facut pe om responsabil si au declarat razboi umanitatii. Arhanghelul Gabriel a dus acest război de exterminare în speranta de a scăpa lumea de oameni si a prelua stăpanirea ei. Unii îngeri mai importanti au refuzat să ia parte, dar îngerii mai putin importanti au luat s-au alăturat lui Gabriel. Acesti îngeri mai mici nu aveau corpuri, de aceea tinta lor era de a le fura pe ale noastre. Dar Michael, cel mai mare dintre toti arhanghelii,a ales sa lupte pentru om.
