Filmul incepe cu un barbat care lucreaza la banca si care nu prea se intelege cu tipul pe nume Rajveer Nanda, care are o fata cam ciudata. Acesta este un om foarte dur si actunile lui mereu sunt prost venite. Pare ca nimic nu il poate schimba, furios mai mereu, niciodata nu il vezi sa zambeasca…insa pana intr-o zi cand face cunostinta cu o tanara femeie draguta pe nume Harleen Sahni, care imediat o sa il schimbe in bine, insfarsit o sa zambeasca si el, deoarece se indragosteste lulea de ea. Apoi spre mirarea tutoror actiunile sale sunt din ce in ce mai bune.

The film opens in UK where Colonel Viren Nanda (Jimmy Shergill) goes to meet a wanted terrorist Omar Zafar (Danny Denzongpa) in his holding cell. As Viren informs Zaffar that he will be extradited back to India for his crimes, Zafar's men enter his holding cell, lead by Hamid Gul (Jaaved Jaffrey), murdering all guards around them, with Zaffar then murdering Viren by shooting him and then burning him. As Zaffar escapes in a helicopter waiting on the roof, he puts a $5 million reward for someone t.
