Having escaped her abusive ex-husband Goss, recently released from state prison, Agnes, a lonely waitress with a tragic past moves into a sleazy, rundown motel. Într-un mic orăşel din Ohio trăieşte Curtis LaForche, împreună cu soţia sa Samantha şi fiica lor Hannah, o fetiţă de doar şase ani, surdă. Curtis începe să aibă coşmaruri despre un viitor posibil, in care satul în care trăieşte va fi devastat de o furtună îngrozitoare. Astfel începe să construiască un adăpost, însă acest lucru îi îngrijorează şi îi îndepărtează pe cei dragi lui.








Curtis, a father and husband, is starting to experience bad dreams and hallucinations. Assuming mental illness, he seeks medical help and counseling.
